Marine Equipment Centre source spares as per specifications from OEM sources of the UK, US, Germany, and the Netherlands. Marine Equipment Centre has a large database of sources for equipment and spares from all over the world. For aircraft that are old, for which OEM spares are not being manufactured or stocks are available, MEC has the reputation of having unique sources for the repair or reproduction of such rare spares using reverse engineering techniques.

Whether the requirement is small or big, MEC goes any extra mile to get the correct spare from the correct OEM source at the lowest cost possible and the fastest track to bring them so that the customers’ requirements are met. Wherever OEM support is not there, we use our experience and engineering skills to get the correct substitutes made indigenously. There are many instances of saving the naval aircrafts by this ingenuity and commitment to the core.

Marine Equipment Centre was founded in 2000 under the efficient leadership of Mr. Anwar KA, Electrical Engineer, and Mr. Mahesh Kumar Guptha, ICWA, MBA a professional from finance stream. Mr. Anwar K. A. was a genius electrical engineer with an unusual capability in reverse engineering and identifying substitute parts for obsolete items. He was able to establish efficient systems and develop a professional team with high technical skills and good organisational culture. After the death of Mr. Anwar in 2011, his wife Mrs. Sini P. M., who is also an engineer by profession, took over the business.
The MEC was started as a marine spares vendor for Indian Navy and soon moved into the area of aircraft spares also with much success there.
